Return & Refund Policy

At The Reading Room– Blind Edition, all purchases are carefully packaged and inspected before being shipped. Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final and products are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Damaged Items
We understand that packages can occasionally be damaged during transit. While we take care to package your order securely, The Reading Room– Blind Edition is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier after the package has left our possession.
However, if an item arrives broken or significantly damaged, please contact us so we can review the situation and determine whether a refund or replacement may be available.
To request consideration for a refund:
Email thereadingroombe@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Include your order number and a clear description of the damage.
Include clear photos of the damaged item and packaging as proof.
For severe shipping damage, photos of the exterior of the package may also be requested.
Do not discard the damaged item or packaging until your request has been reviewed, as we may need additional information or photographs.
Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If approved, you will be notified by email regarding the resolution.
Incorrect or Missing Items
If you receive an incorrect or missing item in your order, please contact us at thereadingroombe@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and photos of your package and its contents so we can investigate and determine the appropriate resolution.
Non-Returnable Items
Because our Blind Date with a Book products are curated and prepared specifically for the customer, we do not accept returns simply because you do not like the book, received a book you already own, changed your mind, or do not like the items included in your box.
We also cannot accept returns or refunds for books that are damaged after delivery due to handling, use, or storage by the customer.

At The Reading Room– Blind Edition, we carefully package every order to make sure your Blind Date with a Book arrives safely and ready to be enjoyed!
📦 Processing & Packaging
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 3–5 business days after your order is placed.
Each Blind Date with a Book is carefully wrapped and packaged to protect the book and included goodies during transit.
We use protective packaging to help prevent damage during shipping, but The Reading Room– Blind Edition is not responsible for damage caused by the shipping carrier after the package has been shipped.
Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of our control.

Orders are shipped using USPS, UPS, or another available shipping carrier, depending on the size, weight, destination, and shipping option selected at checkout.

🏠 Incorrect Shipping Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. The Reading Room– Blind Edition is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
If your order has not yet shipped and you notice an error in your address, please contact us as soon as possible at thereadingroombe@gmail.com. While we cannot guarantee that an address can be changed, we will do our best to help.
📬 Lost or Stolen Packages
Once tracking confirms that a package has been delivered to the address provided at checkout, The Reading Room– Blind Edition is not responsible for packages that are lost, misplaced, or stolen after delivery.
If your package is marked as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend checking with household members, neighbors, and your local shipping carrier.
